I like TSO's music, they're honestly good, but I think the 6-foot 5-inch Swede is much, much better.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is just that... an orchestra. Yngwie Malmsteen is ONE guitarist.

Tough, tough question. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a great group, but Yngwie is a guitar virtuoso.
