Do your senior year semester grades really matter?
I've already sent in all my college applications...
I've been studying incessently for my semester IB mocks which also go into my semester grades, but today somebody told me that no colleges look at your senior year exam grades anyways -.-

They do, actually. They admit you contingent upon you performing as well as you've been performing. If your senior year scores go down, then your admission can be rescinded.
I've seen the elite level schools rescind for one C. But normally, most schools won't rescind unless something severe happens, like you blowing these IB exams.
In general, you want to try to keep your senior year grades within the basic range of your normal grades.
You acceptance to a college is on the contingency of your senior grades. All colleges look at senior grade, but not for acceptance.
You will be required to send in your senior grade to your college.
If your gpa drops drastically or you get a D or F in a core subject class, your acceptance could be revoked.
Yes, they do matter. If you start slacking off, many colleges will change their minds about their decision. AKA you get kicked out before you even start. Finish off your senior year strong, it matters!
