ATI Graphics cards or Nvidia cards?
I'm planning on buying a computer, and was wondering if any of the graphics cards are better or worse. Can I have a list of pros and cons of both.
Also I will be using the computer for things like Adobe after effects, photoshop, gaming etc.

For gaming, I would suggest Nvidia, simply because most of the games I play are built for Nvidia. If you're going to be doing heavy computer editing or photoshoping, it's important to have a really fast cpu (maybe 8-core) and lots of RAM. Gaming places more of an emphasis on graphics card.

Asus is the way to go bro. But yeah, I agree, go get a desktop if you're gonna be doing AE and Photoshop...more slots for RAM, bigger, better graphics cards (psst, get Nvidia), and more space for bigger hard drives.
Also, make sure that Nvidia is at least 1GB. And for the processor you should get an i7 extreme with at least 8GB of RAM...for really nice HD footage editing, 12GB is ideal.

nVidia is generally extra effective than ATI. i don't understand who suggested that ATI grew to become into "extra effective at something" yet this is not authentic. ATi continues to be sturdy, this is only that nVidia is generally extra effective.
That's a quite good laptop for gaming and video editing.
For serious work, I'd suggest a desktop rather than a laptop, unless portability is highly important. You get far more performance out of a high end desktop than you can out of a high end laptop.
