No see-ums please help!!!?

I live in S. Florida and I have a problem with no see-ums (tiny biting insects that fly). I have tried everything to get rid of them, exterminators, bug spray, bug bombs, citricel candles, etc... Nothing seems to work. I take 2 or 3 showers a day and I clean my apartment relentlessly but I just can't get rid of them. What else can I do?

Sorry Gemma, on your recommendation, I tried the baby oil. It didn't work. In fact, it attracted them to me even more.

    Perhaps you should try a hunting supply store. Hunters are out in the woods quite a bit and need protection from all those flying nuisances.

    Surprisingly, baby oil rubbed into the skin is a repellent to stop them from biting you! - As for getting them out of your apartment, I would suggest just keep on with the insect repellent sprays - Just blast the little things whenever you see them! Good luck :)
