how to delete a program from computer?
I have installed nero and its not getting un-installed from the control panel. I tried to remove it using command prompt as well but still its not getting un-installed, and its giving a message that its in use.Please suggest me the ways to remove it.
Update:I have also deleted from Regedit. But still its showing in my control panel. i have remove from everywhere, viz msconfig, regedit, and even from command prompt.

Nero doesn't completely uninstall in Control Panel. You need to use their CleanTool:

Which OS you are using, XP or windows 7. For XP you can delete through control panel and then need to restart. If you still face problem try third option using RegEdit editor. For Windows7 -
1. Go to the task bar go to all programs, click them you can find Nero, click nero you will get uninstall Nero and then restart.
2. Type mscofig in search bar, go to msconfig.exe, now uncheck all tick mark related to Nero, now restart.
3. At times many programs are not removed properly due to program poor uninstaller, so in such case you can removed properly the reference to this program from computer registry.
In search bar (windows7) and run in case of windows XP - type RegEdit and enter.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Here, select the entry from the list that is Nero on the left and delete the key.
After this close Registry Editor and then restart, you will no more find Nero.
firstly if u hav win7 or vista go to startmenu n in search bar type "mscofig" without quotes... it will show some suggestions in that open msconfig.exe... else if u hav xp thn do the same through run...
when in msconfig go to startup tab and remove all tick-marks related to nero..
then restart windows.. now none of the processes wil start so now u can safely delete nero from control panel... good luck
Restart your computer and try again, when a computer shuts down it closes all programs in use so the program should no longer be in use when you restart and hence you can delete it. If that does not work you may need to call an IT person.
Simply Uninstall it from the ADD/REMOVE Programs option in ur Control Panel.
first close all processes of nero in taskbar and nero services in task manager.then try uninstalling nero from add/remove programs in control panel.......hope that helps....otherwise manually remove it by deleting the folder and its contents named Ahead in C:\Program Files.
Restart your computer and try to uninstall.If this not work download Comodo System Cleaner and use force delete.:)
if you unable to remove a programe using crontrol panel you can use a therd party software like ASHMPOO UNINSTTALUR.
search on Google 'nero uninstall tool ' download that and run that program.
Once you restart your system and try again
