Is my goal realistic?
I am a female, 5'4" and weigh 189. My goal is to lose 40 pounds in 6 months. I eat about 1400-1500 calories a day and walk 2 miles and jog 1 mile a day. I also started classes last night for step aerobics and i will be taking a kickboxing class Tuesdays, weight lifting class Wednesdays and toning class Thursdays. Is my goal realistic?? How long will it take to lose 40?

With the activity you're doing, I'd kick that up to 1700 calories daily, and instead of walking 2 miles and jogging 1, jog 2 and run 1.
If you want to tone your body, you're going to have to lift weights more than just Wednesdays, too.
Your goal is realistic, but you need to tweak what you're doing to realize it. Email me your diet, and I can help you with that as well.
It may take the whole 6 months, but it's definitely realistic. Try to not focus on "how much" weight you want to lose or have already lost. Sometimes, you will gain weight in the beginning, due to the gaining of muscle, but you'll lose the fat in the long run. Good luck and keep it up!
If you know right diet information you can lose weight. I use the way here this site and I lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks. It is very fast to lose weight. You can get my diet way that lost me 17 pounds in 60 days here http://bit.ly/dfge54
Probably around 4 months, realistically .
(taking into account your weight, calories in, and calories burned).
one tip is to eat slower.. if you have a huge plate of food infront you you and you eat slow you will notice that you dont need the whole plate to be full. another thing is eat at home, dont eat fast food. when you eat at home you dont have to worry about finishing the whole mean so you can just put it in your fridge for the next meal. when you eat out you feel entitled to finish the meal because it costs money so most people try to eat everything.
