How do I explain my grades to my mom?
I am a straight A student, but this one test I forgot to bring notes home and study so I failed it. Now I have a 75 and we have I think one more quiz before the first quarter ends and my mom will kill me if I have a grade in the 70's or 80's but I can explain a grade thats in the 80's with a mild punishment. But I don't know how to get this grade up to at least an 80 and/ or to explain myself without a big punishment

Wow, it's a bit harsh if your parents will be disappointed in that! Explain to her that you didn't study very hard, but promise to make it up in the next assessment.
Damn, your parents are a lot like mine. Well, it's only October. This means that you have 3 more months to boost your mark before semester two. (Unless you're in elementary or middle school, then you have the rest of the year). So just tell your mom that you have plenty of time to recover your mark. Or DON'T tell your parents your mark right now. Study really hard for the next test and then show your parents your improved mark. Don't worry, everyone makes mistakes, your parents might be a little mad but they'll understand
merely tell her you tried your maximum suitable on the attempt and plus a 80 3 is likewise a competent grade a minimum of you surpassed the attempt and plus if makes you chuffed i'm no longer sturdy at math the two I suck at it so sturdy luck i'm hoping she knows.
What kind of mixed up family life do you have that the best answer isn't to tell the truth?
If you can't get it up then promise to have great grades for a long time.
