Experimental mass percentage?

The question is telling me to calculate the experimental mass percentage of water in the hydrated copper compound. The mass of the hydrated copper compound is 1.22 g and the mass of the anhydrous compound is .77 g. I don't know the equation for experimental mass percentage though! I need help!!

  • mass % = mass H2O / mass total x 100% = (1.22g - 0.77g) / (1.22g) x 100% = ___ %
