I am just about to start reading the true blood books before i start watching the series, but i want to know which books correlate to the seasons so i can stay ahead?
The books and the series are completely different, although they do have SOME similarities, but not very many.
So it doesn't really matter if you decide to read the books first or watch the series first. You might confused if you try to do both at the same time, though lol.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the books are a little different to the series. Some of the same characters, but different storylines. Both good though.
