Do septum piercings hurt?
Recently I've been watching Videos of septum piercings on Youtube, and some people say it doesn't hurt and others say it hurt a lot. I didn't know if this was because it was a bad piercing or the needle was big or they pierced through any Cartilage. So yeah, do septum piercings hurt? Do you know from self experience or from a friend?

I did the same thing before I went to have my septum pierced and it scared the sh*t out of me, lol. Everyone in every video I saw was crying hysterically like it was the most agonizing thing ever. And as the other commenter with actual experience said, the septum is the fleshy spot between your nostrils. However, I didn't have that; mine is cartilage all the way down. So my healing process took quite a while (over six months, probably). But the actual piercing, all though my situation was a little different, was definitely not that bad at all. It's an instant of discomfort, and then you're fine. Throughout the healing process, it's uncomfortable (at least it was for me) but that was tolerable. Good luck! Septum piercings are great.
My septum piercing was the least painful piercing out of around 20 that I've had. Actually, my septum piercing didn't hurt nor did it ever get sore when it was healing. Easiest piercing yet. But it was pierced through the soft spot. Make sure you go to a good piercer who doesn't unnecessarily pierce your cartilage and it shouldn't be that bad...everyone's pain tolerance is different though so there's no telling how bad it will be for you.
For one, why would you watch people getting their septum pierced on YouTube......that's odd. And two I'm pretty sure that when you stick a sharp object through any part of your body it hurts.
they hurt like a ***** for weeks. experience. dont get one.
