I can't download pictures from my camera to picasa?
After I got rid of the trojan I found that picasa had to be downloaded again and over 700 pictures were gone. I am not able for some reason to download the photos by disc and could not find pictures in any file.

PC or Mac?
On a PC, open My Computer and run a search on *.jpg. This will list all the jpeg files on your PC with the folder location. It may be that when you reinstalled Picasa, it didn't know which folder had your original files and you don't know either. When you open Picasa to load a file, there should be a browse button or something like it. Click on that and find the folder that your search indicated has your jpeg files.
If you got rid of the trojan by re-formatting your hard disk and you didn't back up your files, they're lost and can't be recovered.

Picasa is a program developed by Google
Even if you cant import them into picassa you can still import them to a different part of your computer with another program and picassa will automatically pick them up because it scans constatntly and imports all pictures
