How do I upgrade my computer? Im running Windows Vista atm, and I wish to upgrade it to Windows 7 Ultimate, I have the "Any Time Upgrade" key, how do I use it? (Without a disk)
Hi, You can either go to the Microsoft Store and purchase for it there, this will give you the option to download the OS in an ISO format. This is useful as you can always download the ISO so that you don't have to worry about taking the disc with you.
Or you purchase an upgrade disc from amazon or dabs.com then you can then simply upgrade you pc whcih will keep everything in place.
If you are a student then you can get a very cheap copy of windows 7, from software for students.
The anytime upgrade only works once you have a lower level version of Windows 7 installed. Until that happens, it doesn't have what it needs to unlock with the key. You'll need to find and install a Windows 7 disc.
