Please, don't worry. The moon will not be causing any bad things to happen. There are many, many people on the internet saying all sorts of daft things and fearmongering, but it is all nonsense!
The 'supermoon' is a perfectly natural occurrance and happens with great regularity. One like this happens every 18 years or so, but others happen more frequently. None of those times has caused any doom, this one is no different.
Here's the science part (as best I can explain!): The Earth is not completely round - it is flatter in some parts than others. So, the moon does not orbit us in a perfect circle at a constant distance away. It naturally gets a bit closer at times, and a bit further at times. The average distance the moon is away from us is 238, 857 miles. It gets further at times and closer at times, hence it is an average figure. Tonight it will be 221,565 miles away at its closest point - still plenty distance from us.
A supermoon happens about 4 or 5 times a year due to its orbit, those pass by without us even bothering. The reason this one is a bit more special is because it occurs at a full moon as well. It will simply lead us to have a really bright moon tonight. It may look slightly bigger, too, but not all that much - probably hardly perceptible to the casual observer. The worst that can happen is clouds cover the sky and we don't see anything!
Again, do not worry about anything. Nothing bad will happen, it won't career into Earth, it won't cause anything at all (except for a bit higher tides as happens every supermoon 4 or 5 times a year). Just have a look out the window and enjoy the really bright moon - it will be a few more years till the next one!
I've linked to a couple of pages that may be of help.

The moon is not going to crash into us. It has an oval orbit. tonight it will be at it's closest point in that orbit. It's not something to worry about. It happens on a fairly regular basis (2008 had one, not quite so close, and 1993, and 1983), and doesn't affect the earth in anyway. The worst that would happen is the tides will be slightly higher then normal (and that wont matter to you unless you are sailing a ship, or fall asleep on the beach too close to the waterline)
you are just paranoid. the moon gets further and further away from earth. about 1/2 an inch every year. it will never clash with earth.
Interesting fact though is that the moon actually used to be a part of earth but meteorites hit earth millions of years ago and flung pieces of rock out of earth which later formed to be the moon.
its not going to clash - its basically the time when the moon is closest to the earth - 221,565 miles away.....its an orbit, not a collision course.
in 2008 the moon was 6 miles closer (221,559 miles) and Im pretty sure no-one died from it.
dont panic - get a blanket and a midnight feast and have a moonlit party with your husband
Can't for the life of me understand why this would be a problem. It happens every 18 years, as there has never been a problem in the past there is no reason to assume there would be now.
Lack of knowledge precedes uncertainty which precedes fear. Do yourself a favor and research/educate yourself over things which causes you fear.
With regard to your specific question; don't worry yourself over it. You and your babies are going to be just fine.
Don't listen to or give weight to individuals who try scaring people about this subject. This world is full of people [especially now] whom derive some pleasure in scaring people and taking advantage of their relative lack of knowledge.
Very gullible. aren't you?
LEARN about the moon. It's been there for for around 4.5 billion years, and nothing bad has happened.
What's happening to-day happens every year.
