How do I improve my a la secondes/turns?
I know I have to spot & everything, I want to know how I can improve the height of my a la seconde & know what other factors affect my turns. Like do I have to squeeze my legs,stomach, & butt? Those things I've heard, I'm not sure. Any help please?

A la secondes are (in my eyes) some of the harest turns. You have to keep your leg at the same level for the whole turn. Yo should work on extending your leg and keeping it parallel, it never should go higher than that.
Get the right momentum before going into your turn. You can gain this momentum and energy in plie before a turn. Stretch your splits a lot. Try stretching over extended splits when you get there.
Worry about clean turns before you worry about the height of your leg
