Good processor for Arma 2?

Hey I am going to buy a computer for gaming, mainly Arma 2 and I only have like 650$ to spend (including Radeon HD 4770 and Arma 2 itself) and I wondering if getting the

Athlon x2 - http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_...

Would be alright or should I just work for another 100$ to get this

and if they both EXTREMELY suck please give me an idea of a good processer for arma 2 that is already being sold in a computer (perferbly walmart or Frys). Thanks to you who plan to answer my question

  • A fast clocked dual core paired with the HD 4770 should be fine for Arma2. The X2 7750 would be good enough but it is really the Phenom ll X3 720, 2.8gHz or the X2 550, 3.1gHz that is quite awesome in the AMD lineup (especially on a retail motherboard that has overclocking features).

  • unlike maximum people who answer this question, i'm going to u tell u the certainty.... the video card in ur laptop is plenty extra substantial than the processor whilst working 3-D purposes (i.e. video games and stuff) yet yeah...u can run it effective
