  • I don't know if you've got any jello but a really quick thing to do is make the jello according to the directions... (you can use ice cubes instead of cold water to make it set quicker) but add the juice of 1/2 a lemon (put it in the measuring cup before you add the hot water so you're not adding any extra liquid) and then let it sit in the fridge until it's ALMOST set... this takes about 15min in my fridge but they are all different. when you put it in the fridge take out vanilla ice cream and leave it on the counter so it softens a bit. After about15 min the jello should still be stir-able but just sticking to the sides of the bowl and a little thicker... not chunky already tho. then add 1 cup of the softened vanilla ice cream and beat it till it's really fluffy.. then put it back in the fridge until it's set. It's super yummy and not very heavy on your stomach... and kids love it if you use lime jello and call it slime.

  • Angel Lush is pretty simple and delicious. You take a round angel food cake and slice it into three rings. Then make a mixture of 1 large pack of instant vanilla pudding (dry, not mixed), 2 tubs of cool whip, 1 tbsp. vanilla, and 1 large can of crushed pineapple with the juice. Use it as a filling between the layers and for the top. For a twist add some cut up berries to the top to change the flavor and add color.

  • I like mixing yogurt with ice-cream in equal proportions. To this one could add any assortment of fruit pieces. Cantaloupe is a nice addition. ----- Speaking of marshmallows: There was that commercial on TV which showed these folks sitting around a campfire, roasting marshmallows over the fire. Then someone had the good idea of dunking a flaming marshmallow into a small glass of Irish Cream liquor. mmmmmmmm----gotta try that someday! Kinda hard to get a fire in the kitchen to do this (without having to phone 911) . Maybe in a morning fire in the fireplace!

  • Make yourself a yummy chocolate muffin sundae. crush up the biscuits or muffins, layer with ice cream, add marshmellows, and choc sauce and whatever else!
