Car pedal seems very sensetive?
I recently get a 4 cylinder 97 honda civic, prior to that I would drive my dad's 6 cylinder chevy truck. The gas pedal on the civic seems more sensitive than the pedal on the chevy, is it simply because i'm not use to the pedal yet or does it have something to do with the difference is cylinders?

Relax JH, its very common for different cars to have different accelerator feels. It normally has nothing to do with the engine or the type of vehicle but the difference in the linkage between them. After driving your Civic for a week or so you won't even notice.
Many cars feel different when driven. Some cars have more sensitive pedals than others. Trucks usually have less sensitive pedals because their just bigger and a bit more spongy. A civic is a small lighter car and would have a more sensitive pedal. I used to drive a mazda 3 and that pedal was very sensitive. Them i got a v8 ford mustang and it was alot less sensitive. Not sure if engine size got to do with pedal sensitivity i think it depends on the car if it is luxery or sport, ect, and manufacturer as bmw have their own feel i cant even explain.
