  • DOS denial of service, yes the name implies that you are denying service...

But if you just want to ping alot than no and yes... (same thing)

Computer situations can usually be thought of as real life scenarios to better undersand things:

1.) I knock on your door and ring the door bell a few time a week. yeah so what, perfectly acceptable...

2.) I ring and kock on your door for 14hours everyday. Than yes same thing.

  • Denial of provider assaults are completely unlawful. Of any sort. frequently DDOS is the term used for the form of attack. yet there's a distinction, DoS is a unmarried device attack, DDos is dispensed, one device assaults many others to take over area of them, then placing each of those to make the actually attack.

  • Is Dos Illegal

  • It's legal just how you use it and if you have permission to do it... Like if you DDos yourself or your sisters computer on your network for fun you won't goto jail but if you DDos a bank .... Yeah it's illigal

  • They're currently passing a law, that is making it Very, Very illegal to do that. But its worded to harm the gaming community, but that's been resolved I do believe.
