I'm looking at buying a 2006 durango and I want to know if they are very reliable? Gas milage? Good in the snow? I've heard mixed reviews on the subject.
Well, I like the Durango's. I like them because they are really cool looking, like the Hummer H2. The car is not much as reliable. Of you are looking for a good SUV, I would suggest buying a company like Honda, Toyota. If you want luxury SUV's which are relibe, then get the Lexus or something. That might be a better choice. Gas mileage for the Durango is around 12-14 on the city and about 18-20 on the highway. That is not a very good gas mileage compared to the others. Also, if you want to drive it in snow then get something All-Wheel-Drive. The car overall is OK. But the other car I would prefer then the Dodge Durango is the Audi Q7, if you could afford it. Audi Q7 is great! All-Wheel-Drive, Quarto. It is also very luxurious and stuff.
I can give you a personal testimony on a 2006 Dodge Durango! Reliable - Yes! Has only been in for regular maintenance and currently has 150,000 miles. Gas mileage best when my husband drives because I have a lead foot. Good in the snow - we LOVE driving it in the snow - that Durango can handle any amount of snow and we feel very safe when driving it.
We were thinking of purchasing the newly redesigned Durango but we love our 2006 Durango so much we are finding it very difficult to part with it.
