Documents required for a minor (17) to travel from Canada to Peru.?

My son is traveling from Toronto to Lima with a connection in Miami. What documents and things does he need to know in order to allow him through customs without issues.

    You need following docs:

    a) Passport

    b) Birth Certificate

    c) Parents Singed Letter (Missing Partner)

  • Persons under 18 years of age are considered children and need appropriate documentation to travel abroad. The following is a list of documents that may be required:

    a) Canadian passport:

    Consent letter confirming that the child has permission to travel abroad (e.g. when taking a trip alone or with only one parent).

    b) Supporting identification, such as a birth certificate or citizenship card

    c) Other legal documents, such as divorce papers, custody court orders or a death certificate (if one parent is deceased).

    d) Check with the nearest embassy or consulate of each destination country regarding additional entry requirements. Also check the country Travel Reports for other laws and regulations affecting children".
