Extra Birth Control Side Effects?
Okay, I know there are side effects to using birth control because of the hormones but I was wondering just what those effects are. I have heard that my boobs could get bigger (not a bad thing! lol). I have heard that I could gain weight (which I could do without lol). Is there anything I should know? Am I gonna get bad acne? I have very clear skin, except for those few zits that get through every now and then. Thank you!

Possible side effects for birth control: (I'm assuming you mean the pills)
weight gain or loss
breast growth
reduction in acne (or some women can get acne)
blood clots
migraines
nausea
mood swings
There are, of course, many others, but these are the most common. However, even though they are the most common doesn't mean that everyone gets them. I've been on birth control for 3 years now and only ever experienced breast growth (which went away after about 3 months...so sad!).
You should know that each woman's body reacts differently. Some women need to go through a few different types of birth control pills to find one that works well with them (I'm on my 3rd different kind and it's great!). Most women can find a pill that gives them very few or no side effects.
alot of people go on birthcontrol to get rid of acne so no, you wont get acne from it. you really wont know how it affects you until you go on it and then most girls try 3 or 4 until they find one that fits them and works. I only had to try 2. the first one made me pretty pmsal and so i changed to Yaz. it wasnt a big deal and I feel totally fine now . I havent gained weight either
Birth control, as in a contriceptive pill?
You have to drink alot of water as contraceptive pills increase your risk of getting a blood clot.
You can prevent blood clots by exercising regularly aswell.
