Dogs do not feel the effect of cat nip. Although, my dog does love the smell of catnip when I give some to my cats. She will sniff it but she won't be effected by it.
Funny you mention this. I was at the boutique I shop for all my dogs stuff at the other day, and they had something that was advertised as being catnip for dogs. It looked like a little pillow that smells like licorice... has all natural stuff in it and my dogs went nuts for it. They advertised it as being calming for your dog, and no joke... after about 10 minutes of gnawing and licking the little pillow - they were sleeping!

Dogs don't respond to catnip. Some cats don't either.
For people, catnip makes a nice tea which will help you sleep.

Cat nip only works for cats, not dogs. It gets them high, like pot does for people.

No effect on dogs, just some cats,... small percentage of cats don't care about it either!
its a natural high, why couldn't it effect dogs?
'pot' can get animals high too, why couldn't cat nip work on dogs?
it doesn't hurt a cat, try it, won't hurt the dog
not that I know of.
Dogs are not as lazy as cats.
