There are many great places in colorqdo to live. i lived in colorado springs for over 25 years and loved it. Colorado springs was named best city of over 300,000 population to live in 2006. Ft. collins was named best city in the U.s. to live in with population unjder 300,000. See sites below and consider both cities.both are high tech, have many young people, vibrant , close to mountains, close to Denver, have great universities and schools.
It really depends on what you are looking for in a city. Do you want a small town or a large town? Mountains or Rural? I have lived in Black Hawk which is a gambling town with very few people and it is in the mountains. It is also only 1 hour away from Denver. I currently live in the Thornton area. Not to bad. Pretty big town, close shopping. Just to many people for me. There are a ton of options. Good luck!
