Im driving up to Birmingham airport and have been told its better to park my car in the carpark outside the airport as its cheaper and the roads are less busy, and there is a bus that will take me in to the airport. Has anyone used this carpark please?

yeah we have used it before, it is better as your car is much safer and when you get there, there is a bus that comes regularly that will take you straight to the airport.
There are various Birmingham parking options available. There are long stay, short stay and meet and greet parking options. The long stay Birmingham car parks are located off airport but courtesy buses are provided as necessary. There are several Birmingham meet and greet or chauffeur services offered which will mean your car being collected by a chauffeur as you arrive at the airport, stored securely off airport and then returned to the terminal for when you arrive.
I know there is a 'long stay' car park right by the airport that is a lot cheaper than the one right in front of the airport.
The one right at the front of the airport is extortionate - it should be illegal. Its something stupid like £3 for 20 mins!!!!
park at the long stay AT the airport. book on line and prepay...it's a no brainer. Either the bus or you feet get you to the terminal. you will ewait no more than 10 mins for the shuttle bus if you have luggage.
the off airport busses come once an hour, which is rubbish if you just miss one and it is raining when you arrive...
there is a bus that serves the car parks run by white NCP buses & if you book on line you save money parking starts at £2.99
