Apart from keeping a BIOS password and an OS password what else can I do to ensure that none other than myself accesses my computer?
there are mayny things you can do....
local access -- take the keyboard and mouse with you
take the power cord too
disable usb
disable floppy drives
disable disable cd/dvd drives
remote access -- firewall, Ect
security vs. usabillity
"locks only keep honest people honest"
Make sure you set difficult passwords. And don't use a pets names or birthdays. Other than that, I think that is good.
password on your modem and your network wait that is the same thing so yea modem,drives,webcam etc......
