Jergens natural glow and jergens natural glow express?

Hey everybody so i use jergens natural glow self tanner but i also use the jeregens natural glow express self tanner and before i was using the jergens natural glow express self tanner a lot more than the original one but now that its going to be winter i don't want to be to dark so i stopped using the express self tanner and i only use the original one now and i noticed that my skin reallly really got blotchy, the tanner was fading but it was fading unevenly and was leaving my skin SUPER blotchy it was so embarrassing! But the problem is that the original one doesn't get me as dark as i want, so you think that if i use just the original one and the express one ONLY 1 time a week would it still get all blotchy and fade unevenly? The original one never seems to fade in blotches i think its only the express one....
