I'd like to know how much time I have before Armaggedon, thanks

  • Well, traditionally, not very long, because it's a post for old men, and it's for life. There have been a few young men elected pope, but that's the exception. (At 60, John Paul II was considered young to hold the position).

But thanks to advances in medicine, people live a lot older now, so that a Pope elected at 70 can still influence a Church for way past a decade, maybe even two if he's in particularly good health.

  • usually until they die.this is the first pope to leave office before their death in 700 years.

  • until bob woodward exposes their secrets

  • They are SUPPOSED to serve until they die. Although, this one thought he should just quit when he got sick. -_____-

  • till they die.

  • till they die, period.
