I need a Japanese girl's name thats' meaning is dark or cold sounding. Like snow, ice, night, shadow, and stuff like that. This is for a story I'm writing. Any suggestions?
Reiko 冷子 which is "cold" and "child" (the ko part 子 means child but it's used in many female names)
Hina 氷奈 which is "ice" and the second one usually just stands for the sound "na"
Or if you don't care about the characters then it's cool to just say her name is Yuki, which can be written in lots of different characters but is a homonym with "snow" Or something like Yami, which also can be written with different characters, and is a homonym with "darkness." Then you can add suffixes like -ko, -ka, -ne, -na, -yo, -e Or a prefix like mi-
Tsuki (moon) is another one which is good (Mitsuki, Tsukiyo, Tsukiko)
Fuyu means winter (fuyuko, fuyumi, fuyuka)
OOH or 裕月 (Yutsuki) which means rich/fertile and moon.
