I have a project in school where we need to show photoshopped pictures of ourselves in different countries. The more real, the better. How do I photoshop or doctor pictures?
An Adobe photoshop licence is very expensive! You can download and use an open source alternative called Gimp for free. That program will allow you to use layers, masks, etc, without paying out a small fortune.http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=gimp+l...
Youtube provides many very good tutorials for using Gimp.
Step 2. Practice photoshop. Photoshop has a learning curve to it, I hope you haven't waited till the last minute to do this. Do an hour or two of Photoshop a day. A good order to learn and practice Photoshop:
Start with learning the concept of layers. Everything in Photoshop revolves around the use of layers. There's plenty or tutorials online, if your curriculum isn't giving you the guidance you need. Learn how selections and layer masks work in layers. Next get familiar with your tools, particularly the options that allow you to do selections, and selection modification.
You need to learn how to use photoshop which takes quite a while. If you search for compositing pictures you can probably find a tutorial. I can't imagine how a teacher expects you to do this without having taught you photoshop.
Depends on what it is you want or need to do to a picture... When you repair something you are fixing 1 specific part, like a car.. If you asked a mechanic to repair or fix your car he will ask where, what is wrong, and go to that one spot.. Photoshopping a image is the same way. It's usually 'fixing' one area or thing, like red eye..
.
So, the how part depends on the what part...
.
You need any image editing program that allows you to manipulate the image. The term "photo shopped" is generic anymore to mean the image was manipulated but NOT necessalary by the program with the same name - Photo Shop.
all i did was get a photoshop book it had 500 pages very helpful look online you can get on for graphic design or photography it depends on how you intend to use photoshop.
Save them as JPEG format, on menu File>SaveAs then select jpeg from the dropdown. Depending on the quality/size of the picture, you may want to reduce its resolution (quality) during the save.
