PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! (CAMERA SERIOUS PROBLEM)?
okay so he have a camera and i wanted to record a youtube video to upload but did not have the usb cord so i put in my SD card and when i was done recording a video it wouldnt save to the sd it would save with all the camera memory! okay so i messed around with it until i clicked something that had two options "HDD" AND "SD MEMORY" i clicked sd memory and i was good to go i was done recording so i took out the memory stick but the NEW VACATION PICTURES AND VIDEOS WERENT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have the video on my SD but not our vacation pictures and videos on anything else and its not on the camera either!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my parents will kill me if they find out PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!! even though i go back to the options and click HDD it still asks for the memory SD card and the stuff isint in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ='''''''( HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have lost the files.
There is no way to get them back. Camera memory is very fragile. I am learning this through photography classes in college.
your screwed because the video file got written over the image files of the vacation. You can/should try this out http://www.filerecoverytools.com/mediaundelete/ and see if it able to actually recover what was there but chances are slim.
To prevent this in the future, it is just so important to back up files.
At least it was vacation photos lost. I know of someone who lost the vast majority of baby pictures of their child because they did not back up their data.
Try rubbing a magnet over the memory stick.
