Can you make .gif avatar as Yahoo profile picture?

I have seen animated avatars of some users here, I used .gif animation for my profile picture, but it doesn't work. Hoe is it working for them?

    gif avatars are illegal on Yahoo and even though you may see them from time to time, they only last until someone reports them to Yahoo.

    At that point Yahoo notifies the user and demands it be taken down under the threat of account deletion.

    I hope this helps you understand better.

    An animated GIF will also be set as your avatar by using linking an account that has one to Yahoo Pulse. I don't propose it considering that it is usually whatever Yahoo lost sight of and will soon get rid of. No one likes avatars continuously changing.    ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪ Friday, December 31, 2010
