I had this as well at 19 weeks. I worried through out my pregnancy until my 34 week scan that I wouldn't be able to have a vaginal delivery like my first 2 pregnancies. Thankfully it moved up and I was fine and had a very successful vaginal delivery. A friend of mine had a total placenta previa at 19-20 weeks and it moved up as well. You and your baby have a lot of growing to do in the next months. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I also had placenta previa early on. My doc recommended no sex, no stress, and no exercise. Your condition means that the placenta attached low in the uterine wall and is either partially or fully covering the cervix which will make vaginal birth risky if not impossible. You will probably require a c-section. I was diagnosed at 18 weeks and at 28 weeks my uterus had grown and the placenta had moved away from the cervix. This is still possible for you. Placenta previa is actually very rare. You must be careful because the placenta can tear away from the uterine wall which would cause bleeding and life threatening complications to the baby. I would also suggest a new doctor. He isn't doing his job. He should have answered and explained all of this to you. I can't believe some doctors are allowed to practice with their complete negligence. I hope all the best. Good luck!
I had that too and mine moved, mine was earlier on in the pregnancy (16 weeks). If it doesn't move, you will most likely need a c-section. The doctors never had any concern about anything happening to my baby.
i had that too and it moved for me. the baby is fine just dont have sex or stick anything up there
