in my experience the only contacts worth having are the ones from opticians. Your risk of eye infections is greater if you wear contact lenses, and you need ones that fit properly so they don't irritate your eyes, and to be shown how to take care of them properly.
I used to wear plain & coloured contacts, and I got mine from the opticians for about £20 for 1 pair which lasted a month with proper cleaning and storing. You need to buy solution to go with them, though, which is about £15/bottle. It works out at about £55 every two months or something. Not cheap....
You can get daily wear ones, not sure about their price, but you don't need to store them or anything.
well, technically u should never sleep in contacts even though they make contacts u can sleep in now, ur eye doctor will tell u not to...as for colored ones i don't think they make one that are made for sleeping in as well yet...and for contacts u should always splurge on them, the cheaper ones are known to cause all sorts of trouble, infections, eye irritation, even scratching the eye causing eye sight damage...but contacts will last for a few days at most if they are one day wear, if they are disposables and its not saying one day, then 2 weeks is the recommended amount oftime to toss the contacts. if they are ones u can wear for months, then they will last for months, tho they rarely make those n e more and definately not in color...as cheap as they are, i think they would last about a week and a half maybe 2 if u take great care of them and u use solution that removes the build up after the week mark...they get really irritating if u wear them for over 2 weeks usually.
I actually wear contact lenses and I got blue ones for a while but my personal opinion is they detract from the expression in your eyes - you know, the eyes are the window of your soul and if you put coloured lenses on its like a foggy window. I wouldn't be too keen on wearing them all the time if I were you, takes alot of care - you would have to take the same care someone who wears lenses does - it you don't you can damage your eyes. Dunno how long they last, depends on quality. Suggest the 15 pound ones are only ones you put in for show, not designed to be worn every day.
ok here's my advice don't get contacts unless prescribed by a doctor because it can cause eye infections. and they look fake too, so don't get them at all.
