do i need a special license to race my car in race tracks?
i just got a new honda civic si. i want to take it to race tracks to race it, with other cars and also those timed ones. maybe drag strips. but do i need to go to like a driving school or sumthing and get a license so i can drive in those tracks? or can i just sign up and automatically be accepted? thanks in advance...

Some sanctioning bodies do not require a license. You can drag race anywhere without a license. Look into NASA (National Auto Sport Association) They have track days where you can drive your own car on a race track.
yes to race you need a racing drivers lic. and you have to go the a racing driving school to get one..check the scca website for driving schools
