Desktop problems how do I remove side bar?
I have Windows Vista. On my monitor, the icons were at the bottom. Now for some reason they are at the side, I can not view everything now, the side bar is in the way. How do I remove the side bar and get it back down at the bottom? Thank you so much for any help. This is driving me crazy!
Update:I have tried right clicking the monitor and I have no idea what to do. I just don't know how this computer stuff works. It is easy for some, but I am not one of them.

I'm not sure if I understand your icons problem, but the sidebar is easy to fix.
Press on Start and type "sidebar" in the search text box. Click on Sidebar Properties.
Uncheck "Start Sidebar when Windows starts."
To close the Sidebar right now, go to the task bar below and right-click on the little monitor icon. You can hover your mouse over it and wait 2 seconds to see if it says "Windows Sidebar." Righ-click and choose 'exit.'
You could take a screenshot of your desktop so that I know what's going on with your icons.
Bottom right, right click gadget icon and click close.
