ORACLE 10g download for windows vista problem URGENT?
I am taking a Oracle 10g DataBase Adminstrator course. The textbook came with 2 cds but I need windows xp or 2003 to use them. I went to the Oracle website and the file is huge and will not download. I am not sure if I really need this big of a program for this class. What should I be downloading? and Where? I appreciate any help on this. Thanks

Missy u can find oracle 10g for vista at torrents also, but the speed was very slow the last time wen i tried to download it frm torrents....
the best way 'll be to try n go to cafe n download the software frm oracle's site only, do read instructions there....as inst. oracle on vista isn't easy...

I hv down;oaded 11g(2 gb) also apart frm 10g rc2(for vista) which is just 800mb....

we had this problem before and discovered that there is no j initiator for vista so we used win xp
