how do car warranties work ??
im buying a 1995 saab which already has 119,000 miles on it but for $300 i can get a six month warranty .. so does this seriously mean for the next half year if anythinggg mechanically goes wrong with this car i just go to that dealership and they'll have to fix it for free?

on this you realy need to read the warranty before you buy it. some warranties are different. they are void after so many miles or if anyone besides a licensed mechanic has worked on the car. the best thing to do is do the research on the car and the warranty.
Usually, yes, that is what a warranty is for.
But some warranties only fix some parts.
There is warranty for thr drivetrain, and there is one for the body of the car, and one for rust damage.
You have to read about the warranty you are getting to see what it covers.
