oh lordie.. right as i was reading this post, i was itching my mosquito bite. if u constantly receive bites, it is most probably because u have super sweet blood -- which insects like fleas and mosquitos can sense from a mile away. i have extremely sweet blood and i have more than 20 bites on my body as we type.
also remember.. they may be flea bites as well. flea bites are usually just a small circle while mosquito bites are about the size of a nickel and itch a lot. if u itch them too much, they will turn into a "bubble of juice" which u will end up popping, whcih can lead to infections (but not really. do not be scared).
obviously, the number one thing is to not to touch or itch them, but who can control the itch? do not put saliva or spit on them, this will cause more itching. what works is pure rubbing alcohol.. like nail polish remover, OR u can buy benadryl itching cream (3.95 at target). rub water on them first, then apply the cream. also, if u are in ur room and it is hot in there, warm and hot places is usually where mosquitos gather.. so try buying a fan or putting on the air. if outdoors, spray on some repellent. this will keep the moquitos away.. if it is a flea bite, then try not to get too close to your pets unless u have on repellent.
hope this works.. i am allergic to mosquito and flea bites so imagine how i feel.let me know if u need more help. good luck dear
don't apply nail polish remover or alchohol as someone previously said, that's just stupid. Camomile lotion is good for stopping the itching, it's often used as a treatment for chicken pox too. Another good product for mosquito bites is "Tiger Balm" it's a balm from Asia that is sold world wide and it's said to treat many things, including insect bites. It has a bit of a smell (bit like wintergreen) but when you apply it, the menthol soothes the area and stops the itching and you will forget about it straight away! The white one does the job, I swear by this stuff, as does mst of my family and friends.
I don't know how to treat a mosquito bite, but I think you use an itching cream or something like that. I use Mentholatum Ointment, a Tropical Analgesic to stop the itch. ^ v ^
When a mosquito bites you, it sucks up your blood and puts salivia in place of the blood, which makes us itchy. Best thing to do, DON'T over scratch. Then it will bleed. Put ice on it, and some anti itch creme. Eventually, it'll go away.

Some ways to relieve the itching
*take over the counter allergy medicine like benadryl
* calamine lotion
*dissolve 1 teaspoon baking soda into a glass of water, place solution on bite for 15-20 mins.
hope that helps!

When your in the outdoors a simple way is to cover the bite with some spit from your mouth. Then once you get home you could apply some ointment.
Rub the bite with a benedril stick (you can buy them in most drug stores).
i just leave them alone and they go away
