My wife has postpartum Help!?

My wife has it, its driving me crazy! How can I best support her while keeping my head? Man I need somebody to pray for me! She's a first time mother.

Update:

Im more then willing to help out. I take my turns change my fair share of diapers. But she breastfeeds, I encourage her to pump more so that I can take a full turn but she just doesnt.

  • I will pray for you and for your wife. But seriously patience is a virtue. It will pass, just keep in your word ask God for wisdom and lots of patience. Go out of your way for her even when she is bitting your head off. Do things before she asks you too that will help. Good Luck! LIke I said it will pass. You just have to keep your cool until then!

  • SHE SHOULD GO SEE HER DR. HAVE HER GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. IF SHE NEEDS/WANTS TO TALK BE THERE FOR HERE. HELP WITH THE BABY AND CLEANING. JUST ASK HER IF SHE NEEDS ANYTHING AT ALL. WHAT DOES SHE NEED. I WOULD HAVE HER SEE HER DR BECOUSE IT CAN GET REALLY BAD. GOOD LUCK AND HOPE THIS HELPS.

  • My sister has PPD and she went to her doctor and they gave her Prozac. She isn't sure if it is helping yet but that's what she did. You could also help with the baby as much as possible.

  • i went through major post partum and you really cant do much but when she asks to help help and just be patient i know its hard but you getting frustrated and mad isn't gonna help her. my dr actually gave me meds to help maybe your wife could get some to. good luck it doesnt last forever!
