Cardio is short for cardiological, meaning having to do with the heart. The heart is a muscle just like your bicep in your arm is. It can get stronger and weaker just the same. The only way to make it stronger is to make it do what is was meant to do, pump blood. So we put a demand on our hearts to pump more blood by moving around and making the muscles call out for it. The more it has to work, the stronger it will become (to an extent).
Working out and exercise are very simple, broad terms to describe any type of activity with the intention of improving physical health. There are many different types of exercise to focus on improving different body systems. You can do weight lifting to help improve your strength, you can do cardio to help improve your heart and lungs, you can do yoga to help improve your flexibility, etc.
Working out is just a generic term for exercise. For me, a workout is running 6-9 miles (or more). For some others, it might be 10-15 pushups.
Cardiovascular exercise works the heart and blood vessels. By putting demands on the body, you force the heart to pump blood more effectively and efficiently to get oxygen and nutrients to the muscles. At the same time, your blood vessels learn to dilate (widen) in order to allow more blood to travel through them AND increase the surface area available for nutrient and oxygen transfer.
At rest, these benefits persist so runners frequently have resting heartbeats between 40-50 bpm and extremely low blood pressure compared to non-athletes.
Wow .. well Cardio is being able to jug for far distances .. letting your heart rate lower down.. and play sports without getting tired ... it is really good for your heart.. working out is breaking down your muscles so then it grows bigger and stronger
I also have a query - why is she overdoing the aerobic on such little nutrition? It appears like she's anorexic, with athletica anorexia the place she is ravenous herself AND overdoing the workout. in case you don't get adequate means to be doing the workout which you're, your physique will ultimately use different components, which incorporates fat and muscle.
