problem accessing yahoo mail?

Hi. I'm a volunteer tutor with East Ayrshire Council and have recently been tasked with teaching a basic email class. The class members are unemployed and of low income. Access to a PC is very limited for most of them and so at this stage most do not access their respective accounts from one week to the next. What we have found over the two weeks the class has run is:

* respective email accounts are no longer active

* email addresses are not recognised

* accounts are locked

The class members make a point of recording all account and log on information (which I check thoroughly.)

Would greatly appreciate any advice which could help overcome these problems.

    Hi,

    Yahoo accounts are only removed for inactivity if they have not been accessed in 12 months. In order to investigate the sign in issues further, we'll need to speak with each account owner individually. In accordance with our Privacy Policy, we do not discuss Yahoo accounts with anyone other than the owner.
