How to attract mosquitos to bug zapper?
Does anyone have much an idea on how I can attract mosquitos to my electrical shock type zapper?
My zapper mostly shocks things like flies, moths, and sometimes wasps. But rarely mosquitos.
Are mosquitos attracted by carbon dioxide or what? There must be something I can rig by the shocker so I can zap the hell out of them!
And no I don't want to buy those lame gas mosquito trappers. I love the sound of the zappage and the glowing of the dieing bug.

Yes, CO2 does attract them. So does IR radiation.
A small candle in a large can underneath would probably improve your average.
Here is how you make a home made mosquito trap. http://www.wisebread.com/pesky-pests-easy-homemade...
Yes mosquitoes are attracted y carbon dioxide. You could try getting some dry ice and but a in a container with a few small holes to let a little carbon dioxide at a time. And but the dry ice next to the bug zapper.
Well mosquitos are attracted to blood.
