During the 100 meter dash in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea, Florence Griffith-Joyner was time at 0.91 seconds for 10 meters. If she could sustain that speed, could she pass a car traveling 15 miles per hour in a school zone?

    her speed is 10 meters / 0.91s = 10.99 m/s

    10.99 m/s x 1 mile/1609m x 3600s/hour = 24.5 MPH.
