If you're a guest: Yes, that dress is fine. It's very pretty. You can do an updo or leave your hair down in waves.

Its not but its not flashy or a ballroom gown. You should get a dress that sticks out from all the others at the party. if i were you, i would have gotten a big cinderellaish puffy dress that really say "ITS MY DAY."
Leave your hair down and curled. Having an updo and hair clips and pin can fallout and get loose during the party.
Put your hair in a bun with a few strands free. And yes it is

but, it is appropriate. But if your the birthday girl, pick something that stands out more
