Can I transfer my Nursing Assistant license to Canada?
I am currently certified in MA and I'm in the process of asking for approval in my home state, RI. I am seriously considering to move to Canada. Can I transfer my license to Canada? I don't mind if I need to take a few classes or an exam. I just don't want to have to take the class all over again because I'm going to need to start working a.s.a.p. I've never had my license suspended, never been fired, my record is clean.

If you were going to Move to Canada you would have to go through legal immigration channels and get a work visa. You can get information at cic.gc.ca.Being a CNA would not likely qualify you as a skilled worker. I know in Ontario you have to pass the Personal Support Worker exam. Our PSW programs are 8 months long, I don't know if your CNA program would be equivalent to that or not.
