How do I structure a persuasive essay properly?

I have been laboring over an essay for a couple of months and I want to get it over with. Can anyone tell me about a site or give me a PDF that works on the structure and mechanics of essays?

    first you inform your audience that you are going to persuade them ?? to own pigs, give three points of view, Dogs are stupid, ect... with three accompanying factual statements, pigs are much smarter, then make a closing statement, and a call to action? that's why I think we should all take those stupid dogs to the slaughter house and buddy up with pigs :)

    Go Here. They have a great graphic organizer that I give to my middle school students when we write persuasive essays.
