Dam these MMA posers!!!?

I have been an mma fan for the past 10 years and its really getting on my nerves nowa days with all these kids watching ufc once or twice and then going on to wearing tapout shirts or throwdown or cage figher etc. Acting like they know everything about the sport and are die hard fans while if i ask them of the best pride fight they have ever seen they go like "wtf is pride" .... LOL... it really is bothering me to be honest, i cant train the way i use to i cant talk about mma the way i use to... anyone else feel this way

  • Never mind them, they are just enjoying the best of time to be recognize as the person wearing one of famous t-shirt brand, LOL.

I'm also an MMA fanatic but I will stick on the real way promoting respect and discipline to others, it's an annoyance sometime see somebody just being an ignorance on what things mean, but we must be an example to them how to handle different issues on right manner, let them learn as we show good behavior, just concentrate on the way you pace yourself and entertain those people who love to talk MMA world.

    Good luck

  • hey dude dont diss tapout shirts they have some cool designes

anyway back to the point. it doesnt bother me because everybody starts somewhere...i was like that 2-3 years ago just watching UFC and i was one of those ignorant annoyiing fans but than i started watching DREAM,Pride,Bellator,Bodog and other promotions and grew a new love for the sport i became more of an educated MMA fan and now i am a hardcore fan of MMA

everybody starts somewhere so when i see someone who is the ignorant "poser" MMA fan i try to educate them on MMA and encourage them to learn more about the sport

  • It's always sad when a sport that was once hardocore, with devoted & eductated fans, goes mainstreams and every dipstick think they know it. I agree. Most goofy kids nowadays just like the tough guy stigma attached to it and doesn't care to much otherwise. Just go to some bar during a pay per view and you see the biggest collection of MMA poser wannabes you can find. Where were they when the sport was just coming out? It's just sad. But, that's the nature of the beast.

  • yup it sucks big time! i get annoyed and to the guy with the poker stuff wtf every one knows what those silly little card games are. but yeah it sucks i remember say even in 01 if i were to bring up the ufc or pride or k1 people didn't even know what it was and all of a sudden every one knows what it is. it drives me crazy when these posers try to tell whats up when i have been following this since i was around 8 years old im 19 .20 on august

  • it sad but o well they just youtube fighters they woldnt last a day in a mma gym they dotn have the heart that is a easy people to fight if you ask me and shirts is shirts it doesnt make you mma or not if you wear the shirts or not it doesnt matter to me i just like the design on the shirts but long as they dont say there the best fighters and dont no who the campion is o well im just gone get better they aint stopin my trainng and i need something to laugh at

  • Hey, so what if these kids like mma, they may not much know about it but let them think and feel the way they want. It is not your place to tell them otherwise. and why is it interupting ur training? if u enjoy the sport and have fun doing mma, keep enjoying it, do not let some posers ruin ur love for the sport. mma is wat u make it

  • I hear ya...That's what happens when things get commercialized, same thing happened with poker...15 years ago most people didn't know what the hell Texas Hold 'Em was...now these kids see it on ESPN and all think they are pros, get online, and go all in with every hand they get, TV ruined one of my favorite pass times.

  • if a kid is wearing a tapout shirt ask him do you know what cro cop is famous for followed by a headkick

  • i get mad at posers who get mad at kids for wearing tapout shirts.

  • Pride

    K1 heroes

    IFL

    Gone but not forgotten . . .
