What does a usb turntable do?

Does it still work as a normal player as well as for ripping to my pc? Can I use it with speaker or can I only use it with my pc speakers and stuff?

    Yes you can use it as a regular turntable, but it doesn't have an integrated amplifier like some regular turntables, so you need to hook it up to a reciever/amplifier to use it like this. The turntable hooks up via the standard Red/White RCA cables.
