Does phone chemistry transcend into real life?
I've been talking to a guy for hours at a time, and we have great conversations. We're supposed to meet soon, and I'm just wondering if phone chemistry normally transfers into real life, or not. He says he's really shy, and he says I'm pretty.
He also remarked that I might think hes a dork if I met him.

I've seen it happen both ways. Like, it's so easy to talk on the phone, just because personal things are less personal, and it's easier to talk when you're not face to face.
Sometimes, when you meet, you're too talked out, and you don't have anything to talk about. Other times, it's just so easy to talk, and you click instantly. I think if you don't click instantly in real life, then you don't have chemistry, reall, just a nice few phone conversations.
I talked to this guy on the phone for hours at a time, and it was so easy, and when we finally met, we had so much to do and talk about. Now we're dating, going on six months, so, don't lose faith.
You can't really know until you meet him. I've done online dating and I think someone sounds great on the phone and then when I've met them I was disappointed. Be hopeful but don't get too excited.
well it depends... sometimes its a lot easier to be flattering while you are not talking to someone in person... some people freak out and cant be theirselves for a while, esp when they want to impress the other person. the best suggestion i can give you is to chat online and use ur webcams... i think that may help the two of youo a bit
