Propecia side effects ?
Hi.. Im 19 years old and I'm starting to lose hair form the top of my head my dad is 42 and has lost most of his hair and he says that his hair started falling at around 19 so I'm thinking of starting Propecia but Iv herd that it can cause some side effects like decrease in seaman and shrinking of the penis if anyone has had any of these side effects pleas let me know

Every medication has side effects, but you need to read up on some of the possible sexual side effects of Propecia. There are some guys who completely lose their ability to have sex, and it lasts for many years after they've stopped. Some get the negative side effects after just a short time, and they sometimes never get better. You have to balance the odds for yourself and decide if you're willing to risk your future sex life for hair.
Propecia is virtually the same chemical but is designed for the scalp and hair loss but not all hair loss is cured by using these products, only the hair loss caused by the hormone DHT, which is a more potent form of testosterone. Finasteride is the same medication contained in Rogaine and it has helped men with hair loss caused by the male hormone DHT but if that isn't your problem it's not going to do you any good. Most hair loss seems to be genetic but DHT has been the cause for some men. If you are still a young guy I wouldn't advise you to take any Finasteride because DHT a male hormone, is the most active and potent component of testosterone.
If your hair loss is caused by genetics none of these remedies will work and if they will work because of DHT, it will take many months before you will see any improvement.
